FRP Boardwalk - Construction Example of Kumejima Firefly Museum

Lightweight and high strength! Introducing a construction example where FRP materials and ground cover for fall prevention have been installed!

As an example of the installation of the "FRP Boardwalk," we introduce the "Kumejima Firefly Museum" in Okinawa Prefecture. It is an observation path for the natural monument "Kumejima Firefly." Improvements were made to the garden path, which was difficult to walk on during bad weather, while also protecting the fireflies and restricting access to areas outside the designated range. To prevent falls, ground cover has been installed, and the floorboards are made of dozer wood with faintly glowing lines. 【Installation Example】 ■ Okinawa Prefecture ■ Installed in March 2014 ■ W1.2m × L80.9m * For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

FRP Boardwalk: Construction Case Study of Kurosaki Nagata Wetland Nature Park

Lightweight and ultra-high! Introducing construction examples of FRP materials that are resistant to salt damage and humidity! Improving the convenience for local residents.

We would like to introduce the "Kurosaki Nagata Wetland Nature Park" in Nagasaki Prefecture as an example of the construction of the "FRP Boardwalk." It is located on the northwest coast of Nagasaki City and is well-known as the best habitat for dragonflies in Japan. Due to the presence of dangerous areas caused by corrosion in the existing wooden Yatsuhashi, it has been renovated to improve accessibility and make it easier to stroll. FRP materials, which are resistant to salt damage and humidity, have been used, and additional walking paths have been constructed to enhance the convenience for local residents. 【Construction Example】 ■ Nagasaki Prefecture ■ Construction completed in February 2016 ■ W1.5m × L13.0・46.5・51.6m *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

FRP Boardwalk: Construction Example of Manko Park

Lightweight and high strength! Introducing examples of construction using FRP materials that are resistant to salt damage and have high durability!

We introduce "Manko Park" in Okinawa Prefecture as an example of the construction of the "FRP Boardwalk." The walkway within Manko, registered as a Ramsar Convention wetland, allows for the observation of rare tree vegetation, waterfowl, fish, and crustaceans. Stairs, waiting areas, and observation decks that allow access to the wetland during low tide have been installed. Due to its brackish water environment, FRP materials that are resistant to salt damage and highly durable have been used for the structural components. 【Construction Example】 ■Okinawa Prefecture ■W1.2・0.9m × L291m ■W3.4m × L3.4m (Birdwatching Deck) *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
